About Me

My Christian Beliefs: I believe in the Trinity, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe that God loved us so much that he sent his only son to this earth to die on an old rugged cross to save us from our sins. I believe that Jesus loved us so much that he willingly came and died on that cross, to provide a way for us to go to heaven when He returns for His children, or we pass away, which ever comes first, so we can spend eternity in heaven with Him. He offers this gift of eternal life free. All we have to do to receive this free gift, is to believe He is the Son of God, confess our sins to Him and ask Him to come into our hearts to be our Lord and Savior.

My husband's name is Andy, my own handsome hero, he's a wonderful Christian man whom I adore. I thank the Lord everyday for the blessing of such a good husband and for the love we share. We were highschool sweethearts. Andy and I along with our daughter and her family; moved to the beautiful Missouri Ozarks from Central California, a few years ago. Andy and I now live in the country on twenty acres. We built a two story house with a full basement. In Missouri as far as I'm concerned, with the threat of tornados you have to have a basement. :-)

We are so blessed that our daughter, Robyn, and our four grandchildren. Daniel, Chelsea, Justin, and Kennedy as well as my father, Don, live close to us and we adore them all. We are all in the same church and it's wonderful that we can attend together on Sunday. My husband's two sisters and their husbands live close by. They attend the same church as well, so we get to see them every Sunday and sometimes in between.

Our precious son Donny, along with my sweet mother Wanda, loving brother-in-law Marvin, and our darling niece Julie Ann, have gone to be with the Lord. We miss them so much, but we have the assurance through Jesus, of knowing we will see them again, when we all get to Heaven to live together for eternity.

My sister Chere moved here to Missouri recently. It's wonderful to have her living close to us now. Her son, his wife, and one grandson along with her son-in-law and three grandchildren live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chere flies out there to see them quite often. Chere and I are best friends as well as sisters and we so enjoy spending every minute we can together. We enjoy spending as much time as we can with our dad, Don, too. We look forward to the weather getting warm each spring, so we can go garage selling. It's one of our favorite pass times. I'm very blessed they are both here close so we can spend time together. Chere and I went to the ACFW Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005, to the one in Dallas, Texas 2006, to one in Dallas, Texas this year 2007, and are looking forward to going to the one next year, 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Andy and I built our home in the country because we wanted horses. We love the space along with the peace and quiet. We have a mare and we just had her bred. We hope to have a colt next summer.

I love all the Disney Movies. All the Shirley Temple Movies and Anne Of Green Gables. There are more but I'll have to think about it. :-)

Things I love to collect:

Books, porcelain dolls, Raggety Ann and Andy, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, gingerbread boys and girls, state thimbles, and carousel horses.
