I've been writing for several years. But I didn't really get serious about learning
the proper format for a manuscript and submitting to editors until a few years ago, when I first felt the Lord calling
me to write for Him. The Lord gives me the stories and the ability to write them. The best thing I ever did for my writing,
was to join American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW). I so appreciate all I've learned from the conference workshops and
all of the wonderful writers and editors on the ACFW loop online.
Two very special ladies that the Lord brought into my life just when I needed
them, have helped me considerably and still do. Barbara Warren and Lena Nelson Dooley, dear friends and co-authors who
are always there for me. I appreciate them more than they could ever know. I also appreciate so much my dear friends
and co-authors, Cheryl and Mel Hodde, who write as Hannah Alexander, for their support, setting up book signings, and
being so willing to answer my questions. I have an excellent critique group on the ACFW loop and I appreciate them as
well. They have been a great help to me too. My first book 'Christmas In The Country' is available
in bookstores and online. I have another book coming out in the fall of 2008, it's titled 'Wyoming
Christmas Heros'. If you'd like to take a peek, they're both listed here on the My Books page.
